It looks like the filmmakers have brought the era of multi-starring films and this is the reason that they are coming with back to back projects. First films were announced in Dharma Productions, as director Abhishek Varman is bringing film Kalank, starring Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Aditya Roy Kapur in the leading roles.

After that, Karan Johar himself announced his next directorial venture Takht, starring Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Bhumi Pednekar in the leading roles. Now after these both the films, filmmaker Anurag Basu is going to announce his next directorial venture Life In a Metro sequel.

According to recent reports, Anurag Basu has brought Abhishek Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Rajkummar Rao, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Ishaan Khatter in the leading roles for his film Life in a Metro sequel. It is known that Jagga Jasoos fame director is bringing the sequel of his 2007 released film.

This is to notice that this is not first time when Anurag Basu is coming with big line up of stars, earlier also in his film Life in a Metro he brought the stars like Kangana Ranaut, Konkona Sen Sharma, Shilpa Shetty, Nafisa Ali, Dharmendra, Shiney Ahuja, Kay Kay Menon, Sharman Joshi and Irrfan Khan.
