This is how Katrina Kaif slapped Akshay Kumar without any retake in Sooryavanshi

The most awaited film of Rohit Shetty directed the film, Sooryavanshi has finally hit theatres on November 5. The film features Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. This weekend, film stars will be seen doing film promotion in The Kapil Sharma Show.

During the show, Katrina Kaif can be heard talking about a slapped scene in the film. The actress confessed that she actually slapped her co-actor without any retake. In the film, Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the DSP role while Katrina will portray the character of DSP’s wife.

Talking about the slapping scene, Katrina said that she had to slap Akshay Kumar in one go.

She told Kapil, “Nei, thappad wala scene mein koi retake nei tha. Ek hi baar kiya (No there was no retake in the scene in which I slapped him. It was done in a single shot),” SpotboyE reported.

Referring the same scene, Mr Khiladi Kumar added, “Asli mein hua tha. Asli mein mara hai. Nei woh actually gap nazar aa jaate toh isne asli mein pail diya (It actually happened. She really hit me. The gap would have become visible so she slapped me in reality).”

Further, Kapil asked Katrina about their retake during romantic scenes in the film. She then answered, “Nei romantic wale scenes mein bhi hum zyada retake nei karte. Akshay aur mera tuning bohot acha hai (No, we don't do many retakes in romantic scenes either. My tuning with Akshay is really good).”

Bell Bottom actor also shared a picture with Katrina from the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show. He captioned the image, “This frame aptly describes how my shooting experience with @katrinakaif is always. Had more of it today on The Kapil Sharma Show, telecasting on 7th Nov, and don’t forget to catch our film Sooryavanshi in theatres from 5th Nov.”
