Confirmed! Katrina Kaif to star opposite Akshay Kumar in Sooryavanshi for her first collaboration with Rohit Shetty
Since a long time, there were the reports that Katrina Kaif will star opposite Akshay Kumar after a long gap of years. The pair was last seen in Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan in 2010 and after that, they have never worked together. Well, finally director Rohit Shetty has made possible for Akshay and Katrina to come together for their fans who loved their chemistry.
Today, the producer of the venture, Karan Johar announced Katrina Kaif's entry in Rohit Shetty directorial Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar. Both Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar shared a picture of Sooryavanshi gang all together. In the picture, you will see Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar, Rohit Shetty, and Karan Johar doing a pose for the camera.
Karan Johar while sharing the picture wrote on Instagram, "Welcoming the #Sooryavanshi girl on board, #KatrinaKaif! Releasing on Eid 2020" while Akshay wrote, "Welcome to our COP UNIVERSE #KatrinaKaif...OUR SOORYAVANSHI GIRL."
With this tweet, Karan Johar has made it clear that they are not going back from the clash between Sooryavanshi and Inshallah.
