Karan Johar, whose last directorial venture 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' came last year, is coming out with his new project - a short film titled 'Bombay Talkies'.
Reportedly, Parineeti Chopra was likely to play the female lead and it might star a TV actor playing the role of her lover.
But now the filmmaker has clarified on Twitter that the casting of the film is not finalised.
He tweeted, "Lots of speculation on my short film for #bombaytalkies. I have yet to cast it and am only filming in November!"

If reports are to be believed, the film will be a sensuous love story about a woman who has been looking for love for a long time.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Karan has a lot of films being produced under his home banner Dharma Productions.
The films include 'Ittefaq', which stars Akshaye Khanna, Sonakshi Sinha and Sidharth Malhotra; 'Raazi', which stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal; and 'Brahmastra' which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
