Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, who was last seen acting in Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet, had vowed to never return to acting after the film suffered major loss at the Box-Office. In a recent development, some of the media reports suggest that Karan is set to give acting a second chance by starring in a double role in the film titled Crazy Hum.
A source revealed this to a leading daily and was quoted as saying, "Details of his character has been kept under wraps. This is the biggest surprise of the film. The writers who are working on the set are constantly innovating every day to enhance their script and it was then that they got this brilliant idea of having Karan’s duplicate."
The popular director and producer, Johar had tried his hands in acting in the initial years of his career as he made his acting debut with Shah Rukh Khan in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. His acting career didn't really fly well as he was only seen in cameo roles in various films like Om Shanti Om, Fashion and Luck by Chance.
His last film in which he acted was Bombay Velvet which starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan in lead roles with Kay Kay Menon, Manish Choudhary, Vivaan Shah and Siddhartha Basu appearing in supporting roles.
Crazy Hum is a Chakri Toleti directorial and will star Karan Johar in double roles along with Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Diljit Dosanjh in the leads.
Well it will be exciting to see Karan Johar in double roles.
