Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s death social media is flooded with nepotism debate. Netizens are busy lashing out at Karan Johar for starting all this by launching star kids. After seeing such immense hatred towards him KJo unfollowed couple of people on Twitter following only 8 people and have also closed his comment section on Instagram.
Well, not just this as per recent reports, Karan has decided to resign from MAMI board post. Yes, you read it right, the popular filmmaker has already mailed the resignation letter to director Smriti Kiran and is giving no second thought on this decision. As per reports, Karan is unhappy with Bollywood celebs as they didn’t support him amid the ongoing nepotism debate.

Regarding this decision, the reports stated that the chairperson of MAMI film festival, Deepika Padukone did try to convince KJo however he is adamant over his decision. Besides Karan, the other board members include Siddharth Roy Kapur, Zoya Akhtar, Rohan Sippy, Vikramaditya Motwane and Kabir Khan.
