Takht director Karan Johar keeps his fans updated by posting banter videos of his kids Roohi and Yash on Instagram “Lockdown With The Johars”. In his videos, he is seen spending ample amount of time with his family and using this lockdown period very well. However, now it seems that KJo has acknowledged the fact after seeing a post on social media posted by screenwriter Aniruddha Guha, pointing out to the privilege celebs have.
In the video shared by a user, we can the clip titled “Thank you Celebrities”. The viral video takes a dig as stars like Amanda Byrnes, Ellen DeGeneres, among others for treating the coronavirus lockdown as a vacation in their mansions. While the commoner who are finding it hard to make their two ends meet and especially the medical staff and the police personnel these celebs are posting their videos and making their life more miserable.

After seeing this video, Karan immediately took to his Twitter handle and apologized for sharing such insensitive videos. He wrote, “This hit me hard and I have realised many of my posts may have been insensitive to many...I apologise profusely and wish to add none of it was intentional and came from a place of sharing but clearly may have lacked emotional foresight ....am sorry! ”

This move by the filmmaker won millions heart as his followers were lauding him for accepting and his self-realisation. However, some asked Karan to keep posting his kids videos as they are harmless and also asked his not to apologise because so far his videos have not hurt the sentiments of the people.
