Kangana Ranaut to play Jayalalithaa in her next

Kangana Ranaut who is riding high on the success of her recently released film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and since then she has been hitting headlines for various reasons. Kangana who is all set to bang the theatres again with her upcoming movie Mental Hai Kya alongside Rajkummar Rao has bagged one more film and this time it's biopic of the most known actress turned politician.

It seems that there is no end to biopics after PM Narendra Modi, former PM Manmohan Singh, Bal Thackeray and now its turn of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his twitter handle and confirmed the news that the role will be essayed by non-other than Queen of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut.

Kangana is well known for taking up challenging aswell different roles and now everyone is expecting high from her since she gave the blockbuster performance in Manikarnika. Soon she will be seen in theatres Mental Hai Kya which is helmed by Prakash Kovelamudi and being produced by Ekta Kapoor. The film is slated to release in the second week of May.
