Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika to clash with Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi

Kangana and Tiger’s film are set to release on same day next year

 Kangana Ranaut has launched her film Manikarnika-The Queen of Jhansi in Varanasi yesterday. The actress plays the warrior queen in the film and is set to begin shooting soon. The film has been in news for a long time when Kangana was approached to play lead by Ketan Mehta. Reportedly the actress took over the project without Ketan. She clarified that Ketan's movie was in English and since it didn't start even after two years, she chose to take up this one.

 The film is written by Baahubali 1, 2’s writer KV Vijayendra Prasad, and directed by Krish. Along with the poster launch the makers announced that they are planning to release the filmApril 27, 2018.

 Incidentally Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Studios, released the first look of their film Baaghi 2 with Tiger Shroff a  couple of days ago, they too declared that they are set to release their film on April 27 next year. The sequel will be directed by Ahmed Khan and the makers are yet to finalise the actress in the film
