Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji is in the discussions for her upcoming movie Hichki and the film is doing great at the box office. The audience and critics both are praising the performance of Rani Mukerji in the film as Rani has made a comeback on silver screen after a long fours years gap. Rani Mukerji was last seen in 2014 released film 'Mardaani'.
After starting on a low note with 3.30 crores on Friday, the film showed a growth of 62.12 percent on its second day where the film collected 5.35 crores. Now early reports have suggested that the film has collected 6.75 crores on third day Sunday. Well, the final numbers are still awaited but the expectations are that film could have easily collected approx. 10 crores on Sunday.
It’s a joyous weekend for #Hichki... Biz continues to multiply... Sun *early estimates* ₹ 6.75 cr... 3-day total: approx ₹ 15.40 cr... Can go higher when final numbers come tomorrow... Good content triumphs!

Now the makers already have confirmed that they have recovered all the investment of the film from the non-theatrical platform and now the film is just doing its profit at the box office. Even at the box office, the film covered its investment and now this is surely an example of small budget films.

Hichki Rani MukerjiWhat makes #Hichki an OUTRIGHT WINNER is the perfect blend of super content + right economics... While the theatrical biz is going strong, Yash Raj has already recovered *entire* investment [₹ 20 cr] from non-theatrical platforms [Digital, Satellite, Music].

The trade often feels it’s not the film, but the price/economics that fails... RoI [return on investment] is of paramount importance at the end of the day... If the film wins audience mandate + distributors are smiling + producer/s are in profit zone, THAT’S success!
