Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur is the youngest brother of producer Siddharth Roy Kapur but despite that, he made on his own. Although, he was the brother of a popular producer but he chose his different paths to get into the films. He started with television hosting and then playing supporting roles in the films like London Dreams, Guzaarish and Action Replayy.

Meanwhile, he got fame and name with his first full-fledged leading role film Aashiqui 2, where he starred opposite Shraddha Kapoor. Fans loved the chemistry between Shraddha and Aditya in Mohit Suri's directorial film and it was amazing that they became overnight stars with the outing. It was like a point where he thought of getting the right place in the filmdom.

Aashiqui 2

It resulted as the actor got several biggies projects like Daawat-E-Ishq, Fitoor, and OK Jaanu. But what even after the success of Aashiqui 2, Aditya didn't see the same success in his others films. Eventually, all three films after Aashiqui 2 tanked at the box office. As per seeing his record of films then we saw that he doesn't do much films and maybe this could be the reason why he is not getting his kind of roles.

In his 5 years career as a leading man, he has just done 4 films and this is the reason why his films have totally not gone right. Maybe he is trying to do different roles but it really not the right time to do in his career because it is a time for him to do some commercial films that makes him to stay for a long in filmdom.

Fitoor film

Now Aditya is going to be seen in two upcoming films and both have many expectations. He is once again starrer in multi-starring projects like Kalank and Sadak 2. While Kalank is a mega-budget multistarrer film that stars Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, in the leading roles alongside Aditya Roy Kapur. Kalank is set in the backdrop of the partition of India-Pakistan and his role is being told as look out for.

On the other hand, director Mahesh Bhatt is back to direction with his previosuly hit film Sadak's sequel and this movie will be starring Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, and Aditya Roy Kapur in the leading roles. It will be interesting to see Aditya and Alia Bhatt starring opposite each other in the sequel of 1991 released film.
