Siddhant Chaturvedi became an overnight sensation with his debut film Gully Boy starring alongside Ranveer Singh. It was his first Bollywood project and really worked out well for him. Before bagging Gully Boy, Siddhant Chaturvedi was a part of Excel Entertainment's web-series Inside Edge.
The young actor came into the eyes of Zoya Akhtar and then he just became a part of Gully Boy. Recently, he also became the voice of Chris Hemsworth in Men In Black: International. He even met the Avengers actor in Bali during the promotions of MIB. This also went to his support and he impressed the audience with his dubbing quality also.
Recently, he also discussed his next projects and he revealed that he is having two projects in his hand. He told PTI, "I have two films in my hand. One is an action film, where I will be trained in Taekwondo. Another one is a proper comedy film."
Well, we have got to know that Siddhant was also in the talks with producer Karan Johar for Dostana 2. According to a source of Bollywood Hungama, he had some meetings with makers but he was not keen to do that role. One of the reasons why he turned down the role was because he is not keen to do any double hero film currently, as he is just focusing on leading hero films these days.
For those who are not aware let us tell you that Karan Johar has announced the sequel of Dostana. Earlier there were the reports that Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor may cast in the sequel. However, finally, Karan announced Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in the leading roles.
