Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi rose to fame with his performance as MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar directorial Gully Boy. The actor has been able to come out like a surprise and show stealer despite having Ranveer Singh in the same frame. His character of MC Sher became a successful one and reports were that director Zoya Akhtar is planning to bring out more of MC Sher through a spin-off of Gully Boy.
However, now actor Siddharth Chaturvedi himself has denied doing any spin-off of Gully Boy. Although, he accepted of doing a film with the same production house Excel Entertainment as a leading hero. Siddhant in the recent media interaction also revealed that he has two films in his bag and soon he will start the shooting for them.
Siddhant said, "I have two films in my hand. One is an action film, (where I will be) trained in taekwondo. Another one is a proper comedy film. I am doing a film with Excel. But it is not my next film. The film with them is huge. It is a lead role."
Recently, there were the reports that he also has signed a three films contract with Yash Raj Films. Contrary to these rumours, Siddharth denied revealing anything about it. While talking about MS Sher spin-off, he said, "I would rather not touch it as it is too scary. I don't want to cash in on that character, I want to move on. If I had to repeat myself I would have done 9 am to 5 pm job. Zoya Akhtar is interested in making Gully Boy (sequel), maybe something on the Delhi chapter. There is a huge pop scene in Delhi as well so she may do a part two,"
Meanwhile, the actor is soon going to return to his popular web-series Inside Edge 2 and he will start shooting for his part of a cricketer.
