Actress Kriti Sanon, who is portraying the character of Bitti Mishra in her upcoming Bollywood flick 'Bareilly Ki Barfi', says the role enthuse her because it is "interesting and quirky".
While talking to ANI, the 27-year-old actress said, "I'm playing Bitti Mishra, who is very bindass and outspoken. She lives her life on her own terms and conditions. She is the only girl in Bareilly, who does break dance, in fact break dance of Bareilly."
"She secretly watches English movies and smokes cigarette, so the character is quiet interesting, and quirky. And, I enjoyed a lot playing small town character for the first time," she added.
The 'Raabta' star stated that the role is not at all glamorous and to give it a realistic look, she wore pullovers, pajamas, and half jackets with minimal make up and buns.
The movie, which also stars Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana, is directed by Ashwiny Iyer, who also directed 'Nil Battey Sannata' and written by 'Dangal' director Nitesh Tiwari.
' Bareilly Ki Barfi' also marks the debut of filmmaker BR Chopra's grandson Juno Chopra as creative producer and all set to hit the theaters on August 18.
