Fox star studio suspends Mukesh Chabbra's directorial debut 'Kizzie Aur Manny' for sexual harassment allegations on director
This #MeToo campaign has really turned out a revolution to the film industry and now it is affecting the Bollywood business as well. After the names like Vikas Bahl, Subhash Ghai, Nana Patekar and others, now casting director Mukesh Chabbra has been accused of sexual harassment. While Chabbra has clearly denied all kind of allegations but the production house, Fox Star Studio has suspended the services of Chabbra.
Actually, Mukesh Chabbra was making his directorial debut with the film Kizzie Aur Manny starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi and it was produced by Fox Star Studio. But as soon the allegations of sexual harassment came on the director the production house released an official statement for suspending the services of Mukesh Chabbra.
Fox Star Studio tweeted an official statement, “As a responsible organization, Star India takes any allegation of sexual harassment of women at workplace very seriously hence Fox Star Studios has suspended the services of Mukesh Chhabra, director of our film, Kizzie Aur Manny, which is under production, till the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of M/s Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company concludes its inquiry into the allegations against him.”.

Significantly, the film is also in the limelight for harassment charges on leading actor Sushant Singh Rajput as well. There were the reports that the actress Sanjana Sanghi has accused Sushant for sexual harassment, but now to clear all the airs the leading actor Sushant is sharing all the screenshot of a conversation with Sanjana on social media. The film was supposed to release in 2019.
