First Look: Siddhanth Kapoor as Dawood Ebrahim in Haseena

Siddhanth is playing the dreadful don in Haseena biopic

Siddhanth Kapoor and his sister Shraddha Kapoor will be seen playing brother and sister on screen for the first time in Apoorva Lakhia’s Haseena. It is a biopic on Dawood’s sister Haseena Parkar. The actor has already finished shooting for his part in the film. The makers have released his pictures from the film and the actor had to work on his body to portray two different age groups in the film. He plays 20-year-old in the initial part of the film and later 40-year-old. He had to follow a strict diet combined with exercise to gain 9 kilos for this role.

Earlier in the interview Shraddha had complimented her brother and said, “It was difficult to portray that character but whatever anybody does, with praise, criticism is always going to come. There will be some people who will like it and some won’t like it. I choose a film which challenges me as an actor. My brother is playing my reel brother and he has always been supportive of me. He is one of the nicest human being I have ever met my life. I feel lucky to be his sister. It was an emotional experience to share screen space with him. I don’ think anybody else have played on screen siblings. Appu (Apoorva Lakhia) sir wanted us to bring out our real-life chemistry on screen.”

 The film is slated to release on July 14 and will have box office clash with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos
