Akshay Kumar – Rajinikanth’s much anticipated sci-fi, 2.0 directed by Shankar will release in 2D, 3D, Imax 3D and IMAX Real 3D format.
According to our sources, unlike other Indian films that are digitally converted into 3D and IMAX format, Shankar is shooting the film in keeping the above mentioned format in mind. The director has hired camera that are used to shot several Hollywood action films.
Apart from the visual experience, the sound designer, Resul Pookutty is working to introduce a different kind of sound with the film, which would be much effective than Dolby Atmos.
The producers are 2.0 are in talks with several cinema halls in the Southern belt of India to upgrade their sound system ahead of the film release. The movie is made on a humongous budget of Rs 350 crore and it was recently in news for the sale of its satellite rights for a record breaking amount of Rs 110 crore.
2.0 is shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and is slated to hit the big screen this Diwali.
