Touted as Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan feels his role in Secret Superstar is one of the toughest roles he has played.

The actor posted a video on his social media account where he is seen prepping up with the look test of the film. He captions it as, "One of the toughest roles! as the video shows Aamir preparing for his role and the quirky transformation of him from his simple way of living in real life to bad mannerisms in a man that can be hated by all. Initially, the actor was not comfortable with the role of Shakti Kumar, a role of a music director with funky looks and flirty behaviour. Soon after the look test, Aamir seemed to go with the role. However, the video posted by him shows Aamir enjoying the process of the look test but, the rest of the team that includes his wife Kiran Rao, child actress Zaira Wasim, his costume stylist, hairstylist to name a few have been seen giving funny and weird reactions.

Talking about the film, it is directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khanand Kiran Rao. It tells the story of a child who aspires to be a singer.
