Did Varun Dhawan suggest Taapsee Pannu’s name for a brand?

Taapsee was apparently chosen to be face of the brand after Varun’s recommendation

 Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu shot together for Judwaa 2 recently and said to have become good friends. This is how Varun apparently suggested Taapsee’s name for an electronic brand which he too endorses. A source says, “Varun is the face of one of the products of the brand and when he realised that the brand is looking for a fresh face to launch the new model of their upcoming product, he suggested his co-star Taapsee’s name. The brand approached the actress and things worked out between them and they finalised her to be their face.”

 Taapsee recently shot for the commercial and launched the product too. It was reported that this particular brand was earlier endorsed by Katrina Kaif and Taapsee has replaced her.

 Apart from Judwaa 2 which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Taapsee will be next seen in Anubhav Sinha’s Mulk with Rishi Kapoor and Prateik Babbar.
