Did Alia Bhatt suggest director Shashank Khaitan’s name for a commercial?

Alia apparently recommended Shashank’s name for one of her brand shoots.

 Alia Bhatt has been associated with many brands and recently she was shooting for an ad film. While it is said that the makers had another person in mind to direct the ad, Alia suggested that her Badrinath Ki Dulhania director should direct it. A source from the unit says, “The team wanted to shoot the ad quickly before we start our new campaign. So they were considering another director to shoot the commercial. But Alia wanted Shashank as she thought he would do a good job, so she recommended his name and the team roped him in.”

 It is said that the brand had limited budget for the director but they went ahead with their Alia's suggestion, as they did not want to compromise on the quality of the commercial.

 On the work front, Alia is busy shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi with Vicky Kaushal and then she will begin Dragon with Ranbir Kapoor and Gully Boys with Ranveer Singh.
