Did Ajay Devgn recommend Ileana D’cruz’s name for his next?

Ajay said to have suggested makers of his comic caper to cast his Baadshaho co-star Ileana

 Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’ Cruz have worked together in Milan Luthria’s Baadshaho and said to have become friends too. So when recently the makers of Dhamaal were looking for an actress Ajay apparently suggested Ileana’s name. A source says, “Ajay is going to play lead in the sequel after Sanjay Dutt left the film. The makers were then looking to cast a heroine opposite him and he mentioned Ileana’s name. They too agreed to cast her and this is how the lead pair was finalised.”

 It is said that recently after Dutt announced that he won’t be part of the adult comedy, the makers have decided to retain the rest of the cast and are planning to begin the shoot soon.

 Directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ashok Thakeria, the first installment of the franchise released in 2007 with Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey and Ashish Chowdhry. Its sequel, titled Double Dhamaal, released in 2011.
