Coronavirus is taking a toll on India and to prevent it from spreading celebs are urging people to follow lockdown and isolation rules. They are even helping the government to fight against the lethal virus by donating to PM CARES Fund, CM Relief Fund. Among all the celebs who have shown generous contribution is Akshay Kumar and SRK, Sonu Sood, Salman Khan among others they not just contributed the money but also pledged to help the needy and medical staff.

Now, as per the latest reports once again Sooryavanshi actor has contributed for the people who are risking their lives to cure the COVID-19 patients. Akshay has contributed Rs 3 Crore to BMC to assist in the making of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), masks and rapid testing kits. Well, this contribution comes after he donated Rs 25 Crores to PM CARES Fund.

Before announcing this on Twitter he posted a video where he thanked all the police officers, doctors, nurses, NGOs, government officials, volunteers and many more who are working amid the risk of Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Coronavirus cases in India have reached 6725 among which 227 people have died while the other 5863 are battling for their lives with the deadly virus.
