Meanwhile, the current rating of Chhapaak on IMDb is 4.7. Despite the negative comments, the film started with a decent opening.
Chhapaak was based on the real-life story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The film was directed by Meghna Gulzaar which starrer Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey, and others. The film hit the silver screen alongside Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior which has toppled Deepika’s film.
