Salman Khan’s film manage to earn good money though lesser than his previous films
Salman Khan’s much anticipated Eid release has said to have collected around Rs. 21 crore on opening day. According to trade experts, the film was expected to earn good money on first day due to Salman’s presence, however it is likely to pick up on long holiday weekend. The film might earn more post on Eid and following week.
Kabir Khan’s film has got good screen count; it has been released in 4400 screens in India and total 5500 screens all over the world. The occupancy on the opening day was around 30-40 % and it is said to be performing better in North India. It was apparently third biggest occupancy of the year post Baahubali 2 and Raees.
Most of Salman’s previously released Eid releases have done well at the box office. The approximate amount of money that they made are:
Ek Tha Tiger: Rs 32 crore
Kick: Rs 26 crore
Bajrangi Bhaijaan: Rs 27 crore
Sultan: Rs. 36 crore
