Bollywood's first lady superstar Sridevi died in February 2018 and her death shocked everyone in the industry. Now to celebrate her contribution to Indian cinema, Madame Tussauds Singapore announced the news of Sridevi's wax statue on her birth anniversary. However, today Sridevi's family unveiled the wax statue.
The event was attended by Sridevi's husband producer Boney Kapoor, her daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, and brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor.

In the pictures, you can see the statue has inspired from Sridevi's most iconic song Hawa Hawai from Mr India starring alongside Anil Kapoor and Amrish Puri. In a tribute to the actress, many messages from her fans were also shown along with the wax statue.
Sanjay Kapoor also shared a picture on Instagram and wrote, "She lives in our hearts forever "

Before event Boney Kapoor also shared a video of the statue on social media and wrote, Sridevi lives forever in not just our hearts but also in the hearts of millions of her fans. Eagerly waiting to watch the unveiling of her figure at Madame Tussauds, Singapore on September 4, 2019".
