This is one of the saddest days in the history of Bollywood as they have lost their most precious gem in the name on Irrfan Khan. The actor breathed his last in the Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai owing to a colon infection at 11 am this morning. Recently, actor’s spokesperson released a statement which read, “I trust, I have surrendered"; These were some of the many words that Irrfan expressed in a heartfelt note he wrote in 2018 opening up about his fight with cancer. And a man of few words and an actor of silent expressions with his deep eyes and his memorable actions on screen."

Meanwhile, a few days ago Irrfan’s mother passed away and Irrfan was not able to attend the last rites of his mother. Irrfan’s death has left everyone in shock not just in Bollywood but also his fans are not able to accept the fact.
On the work front, Irrfan was recently seen in Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madan, among others.
