Salman Khan was sentenced to five years jail along with Rs 10,000 as fine under Section 51 of the Act after being convicted of killing two blackbucks in Jodhpur during the shooting of his movie 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in 1998. The other four accused actors Tabu, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam were cleared of all charges.
In 1998, while shooting for the film ‘Hum Sath Sath Hain’ in Rajasthan, went on allegedly hunting along with Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Sonali Bendre and Tabu. Salman Khan is believed to have killed two blackbucks in Jodhpur’s Kankani village.
