Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi’s film did not open well on day one

Yashraj Film’s Bank Chor adapted a different marketing strategy for its promotion. The film released with Sharib Hashmi’s Phullu and had no major competition at box office. However it got mixed reviews and could not get good opening on day one and managed to collect around Rs1.50 crore. The film is being screened at 700 screens and has small budget of Rs.15 crore.

On the other hand Diljit Dosanjh’s Punjabi film Super Singh has expectedly done well in Punjab and some other sections of the country. It has collected around Rs. 1.80 crore approximately.

Last week’s release Raabta, which starred Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon has not been doing well. So far it collected only Rs. 20 crore approximately.

Irrfan Khan and Sara Qamar’s Hindi Medium is still doing decent business at box office. This week it has crossed Rs. 65 crore and is declared superhit. Baahubali 2 has completely 50 days and is going strong in nearly more than 1000 screens in India.
