Ayushmann Khurrana is one of those actors who has always created buzz through his choices of films. These days the actor is in buzz for his next film Dream Girl as this is a role that has not been shown as the leading character in Bollywood films. Ayushmann Khurrana has played the role of a young boy who used to talk to the people in the girl's voice. He would be seen playing a fake girl named Pooja.
During the promotions, Ayushmann Khurrana revealed that this is not the first time when he has done something like it. Ayushmann told in that in the back 90s when he was 14 years old he used to talk to his girlfriend's father as her female friend. He told whenever his girlfriend's father used to pick his call he starts pretending to be her female friend. “And we used to talk for hours because her dad thought that she was talking to a girl,” Ayushmann told.
Ayushmann Khurrana also stats that Dream Girl is one of his most commercial films that is totally different from others. “The tonality of this film is its masala. This is one of most commercial films because I have been known for my realistic performances. But this one is out there. So it has given me the chance to explore that territory of a commercial film. And it’s a lot of fun,” he added.
Directed Raaj Shandilya and produced by Ekta Kapoor, Dream Girl is going to release on 13th September 2019. The film will have an emerging leading cast having Nusrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Nidhi Bisht, Rajesh Sharma, Abhishek Banerjee and Raj Bhansali in pivotal roles.
