On Tuesday, Sidharth Malhotra-Tara Sutaria’s music video Masakali 2.0 was unveiled by T-Series. The song that is a remake of AR Rahman’s song Masakali from Sonam Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan starrer Delhi 6 failed to woo the audience as well as the original makers.
The original song was penned Prasoon Joshi, sung by Mohit Chauhan and composed by AR Rahman. After listening to the song the trio took to their social media handle to criticize the song. Taking to Twitter Rahman shared the note which read, “No No short cuts, properly commissioned, sleepless nights, writes and re-writes. Over 200 musicians, 365 days of creative brainstorming with the aim to produce music that can last generations.” Not just this he also asked his fans to enjoy the original version.
