Anurag Kashyap looking for new actors for Gulab Jamun?

Anurag is apparently wanting to cast newcomers to play the lead after Abhishek, Aishwarya’s exit

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were supposed to unite on screen in Anurag Kashyap’s Gulab Jamun. The film will be directed by Sarvesh Mewara. Abhishek and Aishwarya are not going to be part of it as apparently they did not show any interest in the script. A source says, “Anurag said to have offered the script to Abhishek and Aishwarya and after the narration he made few changes as well for them. Finally  things did not work out between them and now Anurag is looking for fresh actors to play lead in the film.”

Reportedly apart from Abhishek and Aishwarya, the film was also supposed feature Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan in it. A source says, “Anurag is producing the film and was keen to have a married couple. So he offered it to Abhishek and Aishwarya. The hunt for new actor is on and there is a possibility that the film may get little delayed as it was to go on floor next month.”

On work front Abhishek has signed quite a few films, he will first begin work on Ram Gopal Varma’s Arrest and then Prabhudeva's Lefty.
