Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is once again all set to get back to the horror-comedy genre with the remake of Tamil film Kanchana, Laxmmi Bomb. The movie will show Akshay Kumar playing a transgender ghost who will take revenge for his death. However, according to the latest development, Tarun Arora who rose to fame playing Anshuman, Kareena Kapoor's boyfriend in Imtiaz Ali has joined Laxmmi Bomb as well.
Tarun will be seen playing the leading villain in Laxmmi Bomb and the interesting thing is that Tarun will repeat his character of corrupt MLA in Laxmmi Bomb as he also played the original character in Kachana 2. Tarun's last memorable performance was as Anshuman in Jab We Met and maybe this venture will give him fly once again in Bollywood.
Laxmmi Bomb to be made under the banner of Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films and Fox Star Studio. Raghava Lawrence who acted and directed Kanchana series will direct the Hindi remake of the film as well. Akshay Kumar returns to the horror-comedy genre after 12 years of his last film Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Kiara Advani will share the screen with Akshay in Laxmmi Bomb.
On the other hand, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is also having a sequel and this time Kartik Aaryan will be seen playing a leading role in the film. The film will be directed by Anees Bazmi and it will be interesting to see the new franchise of horror-comedy.
