Salman Khan - Kabir Khan’s Tubelight has created another record ahead of its release as the music rights of this period drama have been sold to Sony Music for a record breaking amount.
While the amount has still been kept under wraps, sources reveal that it is one of the highest ever for a Hindi film. The music of Tubelight has been composed by Pritam and the industry is expecting him to recreate the Bajrangi Bhaijaan magic.

The music rights of almost all Salman Khan Films have fetched hefty amount as the superstar does have a good ear for music. While YRF had retained the music rights of Sultan, that of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was sold for Rs 17 crore to T-Series, thus being the highest ever at that point of time.
Recently, the all India distribution rights of the period drama were sold for a record breaking amount of Rs 132 crore to NH Studioz. Amar Bhutala from Salman Khan films is in talks with several studios for the overseas rights of the film and the film deal is expected to be locked soon.

With 3 months left for release, the buzz around Tubelight are heating up. The Kabir Khan directorial is confirmed for an Eid 2017 release.
