Amitabh Bachchan starring Jhund's poster is out and the release date of the movie has also been revealed, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his twitter and tweeted the first look of the movie Jhund and tweeted #Sairat director Nagraj Manjule, to release on 20 Sept 2019. The movie is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath and Sairat's director who is making debut from this movie Nagraj Manjule.
The movie Jhund is based on the life of the founder of Slum Soccer, Vijay Barse. In the movie, Amitabh plays the role of Professor who encourages street children and initiates to make a football team.

The movie marks the debut of Sairats's director Nagraj Manjule in bollywood. Sairat is a love story which deals with the issue of cast system, where a lower cast boy falls in love with upper cast girls and they run away from home to be together but meets a tragic end. This movie was remade in Hindi as Dhadak starring Ishan Khattar and Janvhi Kapoor.
Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in movie Thungs of Hindostan and is set to again come one screen with his movie Brahmastra also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
