The actor was trolled on social media last night for holding the flag upside down.

With a series of his tweets, Akshay Kumar displayed sheer excitement as he watched the final match between India and England's women's cricket team. The actor had taken some time off his shoot of the film, Gold in London, to be at the final match at the Lord's. Akki later posted a picture of himself with the Indian women's cricket team, but he hadn't obviously realised that he's holding the Indian flag upside down in the picture.
His followers reacted adversely to this and the actor was quick to apologies. He tweeted, "Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor. Didn't mean to offend anyone, the picture has been removed." (Sic)

On the work front, Akshay is gearing up for the promotions of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
