Recently, Amazon Prime video held a virtual event wherein the OTT announced the upcoming films on their platform. For this, they invited Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan to announce the good news to the viewers. However, during this event Vidyut Jammawal’s film Khuda Haafiz was also included but he was not invited.
Now on seeing this Kangana Ranaut has come out in support and has slammed the streaming platform for the alleged ‘ill-treatment’. She took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “Such a shame that ill-treatment of outsiders continues even in territories where everyone is new and an outsider (sic).”

Kangana’s tweet came after Vidyut pointed out and showed his disappointment by writing a tweet on Twitter. He wrote, “A BIG announcement for sure!! 7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It’s a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES (sic).”

Every film is made with a lot of love, a lot of sweat & a lot people giving it their all. Its only fair to want a little respect, its only fair to expect an invitation, its only fair to have at least been intimated. But then, sometimes even life is not fair. keep walking my friend https://t.co/xBZVf1cYHt

Meanwhile, along with Vidyut and Genelia D’s Souza’s film, Kunal Khemu’s film titled Lootcase was also snubbed by the OTT platform. Even he expressed his anger and wrote on Twitter, “Izzat aur pyaar maanga nahi kamaya jaata hai. Koi na de to usse hum chhote nahi hote. Bas maidaan khelne k liye barabar de do chhalaang hum bhi oonchi laga sakte hai.”
