Ayushmann Khurrana has given two back to back hit films in Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan this year. The star was facing lots of failures in recent past but after these two hits, the actor has made his comeback towards family drama movies.
According to the reports, Ayushmann Khurrana has collaborated with Bareilly Ki Barfi team once again but this time with a different director. Amit Sharma who made his directorial debut with Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha starring film Tevar is all set to make a family drama movie.
Amit Sharma has collaborated with Bareilly Ki Barfi team and now he will helm the project starring Ayushmann Khurrana. The project in the initial stage has got the name of Badhai Ho. Talking about the script the source has told, director Amit Sharma is working on the script since last two years with his writers Akshat Ghildial and Shantanu Srivastava.

Bollywoodlife has quoted the source, “It’s very real and easy to relate to. What is funny for others is a matter of concern for the family. I hope one day soon people will tell me ‘Badhai Ho’ too, after watching the film.”
The film Badhai Ho is going to roll from January 2018 in Delhi. The producer of Bareilly Ki Barfi has confirmed the same by saying, "Our this year release film Bareilly Ki Barfi has got a good response at the box office. It has been fantastic working with Ayushmann and now once again we are collaborating on the next film."
