After attack on Umar Khalid, Swara Bhaskar came out in his support but got brutally trolled; Twitterati said, 'Kuttiya muh chalane lagi'
In a very shocking incident that happened with one of the most talked famous and controversial research scholars of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Umar Khalid was attacked by an unidentified man at the highly secured area of Constitution Club near the Parliament. But to his good luck, he escaped the attack as the attacker ran away in a fear to get caught by the police and threw his weapon.
The incident happened in a highly secured area and that too just days before the Independence Day and so people were calling it a planned propaganda when he was going to attend the conference called “Khauff Se Azaadi” (Freedom From Fear). The weapon from the spot has been seized and a case of attempt to murder has been registered by the Delhi Police.
Talking about the incident, Khalid told media, “I was returning after having tea. One person came from behind, pushed me down and tried to fire at me. I ran for my life. He fled from there. I could not see the face of the attacker. It’s ironic that it happened as I have come to participate in an event against mob lynching. There is an atmosphere of fear. If you speak against the government you will be branded and then anything could happen to you.”
Just two months before, the leader has given a statement saying that his life was in danger and he has received death threats from the gangster Ravi Pujari and for the same he has even asked for a special security. After the whole incident, there were a lot of views from people all over the Internet and similarly, Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar who was last seen in Veere Di Wedding also gave her views on the matter.
Swara has been known for her fierce views on many issues related to the industry as well as the country but she is always surrounded with people who troll her for her opinions and yet again she was trolled. Swara took to her social media account and wrote about the fact that our society has become anarchic.
