Filmmaker JP Dutta, who is known to make films on India's wars, is now once again coming back with his new film 'Paltan'. Like always, Paltan is also going to be a multi-starrer and will have many leading roles. Although the film has been on floors from September, it looks like that things are not going in the favour of the film.
It is known that Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan left the film just before 48 hours of the film was supposed to go on floors in Ladakh. This was surely a shock to the makers who were on the edge to start the shooting of the film. It was a shock for JP Dutta as well who gave a chance to Abhishek Bachchan through his film Refugee.

Now following the same, another star has also left the project in the middle and it is none other than Suniel Shetty. According to some reports, Suniel Shetty wanted to have some changes in the script of the film but the makers didn't allow to make it. So the final decision came when Suniel Shetty opted out from the film.

Suniel Shetty and JP Dutta share a long-lasting bond as they have worked in several films like Border, Refugee, LOC Kargil, and Umraao Jaan. However, no one from the team is saying anything on this issue.
Now talking about the leading roles, then Jimmy Sheirgill, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Chaudhary and Harshvardhan Rane are playing leading roles in the film which is based on Indo-China war 1962.
