Actor Tigmanshu Dhulia lashes out at train services after his niece harassed by four drunk boys; netizens come to rescue

Indian actor and writer Tigmanshu Dhulia took to Twitter to raise his voice against the assault against her niece in the train on Sunday.

In his tweet, Dhulia slammed the train services in which his niece was travelling to Banglore and also no helpline number was responding which his niece tried to call after four drunk boys misbehaved with her.


"My niece is travelling in udyan express to Banglore berth B3 she is being harassed by four drunk boys no helpline numbers are responding and she is scared can someone help,” Tigmanshu Dhulia wrote.

 

However, his tweet has created a stir on the microblogging site and netizens have extended their support to the actor.

Twitterati also started tagging the Railway minister Piyush Goyal to look into the matter. Many even called various helpline numbers and reported about the matter and requesting officials to help out the girl.

While many praised users how they came together to help the woman.

Tigmanshu tweeted once again informing his followers that his niece was safe. "Thank you all for responding I am really great full no help line numbers worked but eventually like in india Jugaad kiya and cops came she is safe now thanks again guys," the actor wrote.

He also praised the police official and the departments to respond quickly and also slammed the Railways for having helpline numbers which didn’t work.

"I want to thank the police and the concerned department for responding quickly but I would still say that the helpline numbers were of no use thank you all for the support from the bottom of my heart," Tigmanshu Dhulia wrote.
