The most shocking and mysterious case of our country include that of Aarushi murder case that happened on May 16, 2008. Aarushi Talwar's parents, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, who were charged and convicted by a special CBI court for murdering their daughter and domestic helper Hemraj Banjade got acquittal by the Allahabad High Court on Thursday.
Filmmakers of the Bollywood movie 'Talwar' which was based on the same case have now spoken up over the court's decission. Vishal Bhardwaj, who was the producer of the film while Meghna Gulzar who was the movie's director have hailed the decission of acquitting the parents Rajesh and Nupur Talwar.
Vishal took to his social media platform Twitter and tweeted, “"Justice delayed is NOT justice denied. Overwhelmed and deeply relieved upon hearing the news of the acquittal.

While Meghna, on the other hand, in an interview to news agency PTI said, "It is a triumph of justice. I can only imagine what the parents must have gone through. I did not do that film to tell the story of a particular side. Our intention all along was to see that all the versions of the case are out in the open. I think this is what has happened in this appeal. The facts and testimonies were examined very carefully and rationally."

The movie 'Talwar' showed what happened on the night of May 16, 2008 when Aarushi Talwar of Noida was found murdered in her home. The thriller showcased both the narratives of what happened on the same day. The movie starred Konkona Sen Sharma playing the role of Nupur Talwar, while Neeraj Kabi played the role of the father. Irrfan Khan played the role of an investigation officer.
