A.R. Rahman composes a special song for Sridevi’s Mom

Rahman recorded the new number on his birthday

 Sridevi’s upcoming film Mom will have five songs, all composed by A. R. Rahman and lyrics are by Irshad Kamil. Recently the makers released O Sona Tere Liye, which has been sung by Rahman himself. Thee composer is said to have composed the song, Muafi Mushkil, on his 50th birthday. After bringing in his birthday, the composer went straight to the studio to start work on the song, thus making it special. .Rahman has also roped in  Palestinian singer Sana Moussa. He's said to have spent most part of the last year to work on the music of the film.  

Director Ravi Udyawar says, “Music and the background score play a very important role in this film. I wanted to rely on sound to feel the emotions of my characters, to enhance the pause, to feel the lows along with the highs. With acclaimed music director A R Rahman I'm assured of speaking my scenes through music".

Interestingly, A R Rahman also composed songs for Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions of the film since Mom will release in 4 languages.

Mom stars Akshaye Khanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pakistani actors Sajal Ali, Adnan Siddqui and others.
