6 times when Hollywood copied Bollywood films

Bollywood filmmakers are usually targeted and also criticised for copying ideas and films from Hollywood but there are some films which show that even Hollywood filmmakers copy Bollywood.

We have brought you a list of some films which Hollywood copied from Bollywood.

1. Darr - Fear

Yash Chopra's 1993 released film Darr starring Shah Rukh, Sunny Deol and Juhi Chawla was a huge hit. Later, Hollywood copied this film and made Fear in 1996 starring Mark Wahlberg, Reese Witherspoon and William Petersen.

2. Vicky Donor - Delivery Man

Hollywood's film Delivery Man (2013) is also a copy of a Bollywood film Vicky Donor. Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam made their debut from this film which revolves around a sperm donor.

3. Jab We Met - Leap Year

Imtiaz Ali directed Jab We Met starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor was also went for a remake in Hollywood for Leap Year (2010).

4. Sangam - Pearl Harbor

Raj Kapoor made a super-hit film Sangam (1964) starring Vajayantimala, Rajendra Kumar and himself. Later in 2001, Hollywood's film Pearl Harbor also found the copy of this film.

5. Rangeela - Win a Date with Tad Hamilton

This is to notice that Hollywood's 2004 released film Win a Date with Tad Hamilton was also copied from Jackie Shroff, Aamir Khan, and Urmila Matondkar's film Rangeela in 1995.

6. A Wednesday - A Common Man

Neeraj Pandey's most appreciated film A Wednesday starring Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher released in 2008. Later in 2013, Ben Kingsley's A Common Man was a copy of this film.
