Students Create Smart Fitness Tracker

Bikaner: In a breakthrough innovation, engineering college students in Bikaner have created a smart fitness tracker using Artificial Intelligence (AI), making gym training more efficient and personalized.

The students, Shubham, Krishna, Shivay, and Sahil, developed the software, which can track an individual's exercise routine, provide real-time feedback, and offer personalized recommendations based on age, height, and weight.

The software eliminates the need for a personal trainer, allowing individuals to work out efficiently at home or in the gym. It tracks 36 joints in the body, providing accurate feedback on exercise performance.

Injury Prevention

The AI-powered software also helps prevent injuries by guiding users on correct exercise techniques. If a user performs an exercise incorrectly, the software will not count it, ensuring that the individual avoids injury.

Advanced Technology

The software uses advanced technologies like Python language, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision. It can track 20 exercises and provide detailed graphs and reports on mobile devices.

Easy to Use

To use the software, users need to install an app on their mobile, laptop, or Android TV, create an ID, and enter their height, weight, and age. The software will then provide personalized exercise recommendations and track progress.

The innovation is expected to revolutionize the fitness industry, making it easier for people to stay healthy and fit. It also has the potential to be used in sports training, enabling athletes to improve their performance.

The innovation is a result of the engineering college's innovation cell, which encourages students to develop innovative solutions using AI and other technologies.

Dr. Om Prakash Jakhar, Principal, ESB, praised the students' efforts, saying that the innovation would help increase innovation and creativity among students.
