Uttar Pradesh to Quench Madhya Pradesh's Thirst

Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has agreed to supply 0.72 MCM of water from the Jamrar Dam in Lalitpur to Tikamgarh, in response to a letter from Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. Tikamgarh city has been facing a severe water crisis, and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had written to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath seeking help.

Water Crisis Hits Tikamgarh Hard

As the summer heat intensifies, people across the country are struggling to cope. In Madhya Pradesh's Bundelkhand region, water scarcity is a recurring problem, and this year is no exception. The region is reeling under the impact of severe heat, and the water crisis has exacerbated the situation.

In response to the crisis, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav wrote to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, seeking help to resolve the water crisis. Yogi Adityanath promptly responded, agreeing to supply water from the Jamrar Dam to Tikamgarh city.

Years-Old Problem Solved in Hours

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav's letter was written on June 12, and Yogi Adityanath responded the same day, agreeing to supply water to Tikamgarh. The letter has gone viral on social media, highlighting the prompt action taken by the Uttar Pradesh government to address the water crisis in Tikamgarh.
