World's 10 most powerful passports; find out where India's stands
For the fifth year running, the Japanese passport is the most powerful among all passports in the world, as it authorises visa-free access to as many as 193 nations, as per Henley Passport Index 2023.
On the other hand, India improved its position by 2 places from last year, and currently sits 85th on the list.
An Indian passport holder can travel visa-free to 59 countries (60 in 2022); Mauritanian and Uzbekistan passports are as powerful as that of India.
