Watch Video: Young girls jumping down a dance studio in New Jersey as fire tear through
Trapped in a multi-use building dance studio amidst smoke and flame, young girls were seen screaming and jumping down the building to save their lives in Bergen County, New Jersey late night, Monday.
Many passers-by and strangers were seen trying to help but it was quite difficult as the ladder wasn't able to reach there.
According to the authorities, flame broke out in the building around 7 pm.One of the officers said, "When he reached the scene fire had already broken out and many were trying to rescue but many could not and were jumping down the building not worrying about the hight. Thank God nobody was dead. That was our only concern, little injuries but we care about the lives of those kids.”
Mayor Michael McPartland confirmed that none of the girls is seriously injured except minor injuries in the harrowing escape.
