To address the rally, Harriss donned a white top with a blue blazer and grey pants while her Converse shoes completed her signature look.

A report was also circulated on social media that Harris once asked her aunt Sarala Gopalan in Chennai to break a coconut for good luck at a Hindu temple when she was in the battle for California attorney general election in 2010. Her aunt smashed 108 coconuts. Fortunately, Harris won the election by a margin of 0.8 percent.
