Putin says Russia never interfered with 2016 US internal affairs
In a joint press conference that was organised between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Finland, Putin said that Russia never interfered in 2016 American politics. This claim was made despite all contrary evidence.
This assertion came a day after Special Counsel Robert Mueller said that at least a dozen Russian intelligence officials meddled in the US election.

Putin said, "The Russian state has never interfered and is not going to interfere into internal American affairs including election process," He also added that it wasn't Russia.
Supporting Putin's statement, Trump said, "I don't see any reason why it would be." He even praised Putin's offer to US officials to come and work with Russian investigators.
