Pakistan Super League 2018: Karachi Kings beat Islamabad United by 7 wickets
On Friday night, The Karachi Kings qualified for the play-offs spot in the Pakistan Super League (PSL-2018).They got past the inaugural champions Islamabad United by seven wickets in the final match of the group stage. With that victory, the Karachi Kings qualified for the PSL 2018.
The Kings finished with 11 points and second behind Islamabad United. This was a decent win for the debutants.
The three-horse fight includes Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings, and Multan Sultans. Presently there is a balance between the Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans.
The table toppers, Islamabad United had a rare day off as they stuck to 124 all out in 19 overs, which was the third-lowest all this season.
Throughout out the game, it was Asif Ali who fought a lone battle with 34 from 14 balls, with four sixes and one boundary. Walton made 21 from 17 balls with two boundaries and a six.
